Emma and Mitchell Miller hosted a party to announce the gender of their unborn child to family and friends.

The video shows the excited parents-to-be standing in front of huge letters spelling out the word ‘baby’, decorated with pink and blue balloons. Each of them holds confetti in their hands.

Next, the smiling couple can be seen counting down from three to one to shoot ready-made confetti with a color representing the gender of the child.

Right after “one” was said, someone yelled “wait!”, but Mitch released the confetti before Emma could.

This sent Emma into a fit of rage. The moment was captured in a video that later went viral on TikTok.

In it, she can also be heard asking Mitch, “Why didn’t you wait?”, before throwing confetti into his hand and walking away.

Commentators noted that Mitch was left confused, not understanding what he had done wrong.

“When your husband doesn’t reveal the gender properly and your hormones start raging in front of everyone,” wrote one woman.

After three days, the video had 5.8 million views. times, many argued that the person who said “wait” was to blame, not Mitchell.

“I’m on your side no matter what because the pregnancy… But I also blame the person who said ‘wait,'” another woman wrote.

“I would have done the same,” commented another.

Others criticized Emma for such childish behavior.

“Run, lad,” one man said, another added: “He deserves better.”

But mothers-to-be have found that hormones can often control a person’s behavior during pregnancy.

“Hormones get the best of you sometimes,” the women discussed.
