On the weekend with 15 minutes “airBaltic” customer Karolis contacted the editorial office, claiming that his e-mail received a letter confirming the flight reservation. However, the man had not booked such a route.

“I received random data from German travelers flying on the Tallinn-Munich route,” the man wrote in the letter.

“We can confirm that an internal technical error was detected in airBaltic’s e-mail distribution system, which resulted in a small number of ticket bookers receiving an incorrect e-mail with the flight reservation information of another passenger,” the company’s response states.

According to AirBaltic, most of the e-mails contained names of persons, language, route, date, but no payment data.
