The Spanish basketball giant beat the Basque club away 102:98 (22:22, 30:34, 20:17, 30:25) and won the quarterfinal series up to three victories with a “dry” result – 3:0.

Real Madrid became the first team to book a place in the Final Four in Berlin.

The match started with a changeable game – neither team managed to gain a tangible advantage. In the point-to-point battle, Baskonia club was led by Markus Howard, who started actively, and after the first quarter, the scores were equal – 22:22.

In the second half, the home team tried to take control of the game – “Baskonia” took the lead throughout the quarter and gained a double-digit advantage.

True, the Basques could not save it. Real got closer to their opponents before the break and trailed 52-56 after the first half of the game.

After the break, “Baskonia” regained a double-digit lead, but it didn’t last long – the Euroleague champions, bursting with three points, came close to the minimum in just a few minutes, and at the beginning of the fourth quarter, they overturned the result.

Realizing that there may be only one half left until the end of the Euroleague season, “Baskonia” also reacted – it was not going to give up, and M. Howard, who grabbed the ball in his hands, pulled the home team away from “Real” again.

However, with each passing minute, the level of Real’s game began to rise – the visitors not only activated their defense, but were also more effective in attack.

At the end of the match, the Vitoria club tried to attack the guests, but all the hopes of the home team turned into a mirage.

T. Sedekerskis scored 2 points (1/1 doubles, 0/1 triples), rebounded 4 balls and collected 6 utility points in 19 minutes in the last EuroLeague match.

In this duel, Baskonia was again without one of its leaders, Chima Monekes.

We remind you that in the first two matches of the series, “Real” won convincing victories at home – they outscored their opponents 80:74 and 101:90.

Baskonia: Markus Howard 29, Nikos Rogkavopoulos 18, Vanja Marinkovic and Codi Miller-McIntyre 17 each.

Real: Guerschon Yabusele 23, Mario Hezonja 16, Facundo Campazzo and Gabriel Deck 13 each.
