In the Nostra.lt-RKL A division, the quarter-final stage continues and after yesterday’s meetings, not a single participant in the final four has yet been determined.

Winner of the regular season Kaunas district. Omega-Taurus away 78:70 (18:16, 27:18, 19:20, 14:16) surpassed “Tauragė”.

The result of the series up to three wins became equal 2:2.

The guests, who were characterized by aggressive pressure and defense, confidently led after two quarters (45:34).

After the break, Tauragiški caught up with the opponents and reduced the deficit to 6 points (52:58), and at the beginning of the fourth quarter, the home team made two three-pointers and got closer to a 4-point difference (60:64).

However, Kęstutis Narušević’s students could not turn the fate of the match and the series in their favor, and “Omega-Tauras”, who ran ahead, equalized the result of the quarter-finals.

For the winners, Vidmantas Užkuraitis scored 18 points, Šarūnas Vasiliauskas scored 17, Edvinas Jezukevičius added 13 points.

For Taurage, Lukas Grabauskas scored 14 points, Ervinas Černis scored 11, Augustinas Krūminis added 10 points.

The decisive match of the series will be held on April 27 in the home fortress of Omega-Taurus. In the next match, “Raseiniai”, who are at home, moved the series to the fifth match 89:84 (17:17, 22:17, 27:17, 23:33) broke “Biržus”.

The result of the series is 2:2.

The hosts confidently controlled the game for three quarters of the game and gained a 15-point advantage (66:51) before the decisive ten minutes of the game.

However, the players from Bizerze, who took the second place in the season, did not capitulate and reduced the deficit. With 27 seconds left to play, Kristupas Kenešis hit a three-pointer and 3 points remained from the advantage of “Raseiniai” (87:84).

“Biržai” basketball players decided not to commit a foul, but this tactic did not work for them. Mantos Košelis’ two-pointer was inaccurate, but Raseiniški recovered the ball and left no other option for the guests but to commit a foul with 3 seconds before the end of the game.

Two accurate free throws by Augustus Žilinskas sealed the victory for the home team.

For the winners, Ernestas Serkevičius scored 15 points, Nojus Vaivada and Mantas Košelis scored 13 each, Antanas Montrimavičius added 11 points.

For Biržams, Kristupas Kenešis scored 21 points, Vytautas Saulis scored 16, Dovydas Rimkus added 14 points.

The decisive quarter-final match will take place on April 27 in Biržai. The winner of this pair will meet the winner of the pair of Plungė “Olimpo” and Prienė “Mačiūņu-KKSC” in the semi-finals.

This series will also require a decisive match. Hosts in Prienai 116:67 (28:13, 18:15, 33:17, 37:22) did not spare the Plungians.

The team from Prien was confidently leading after two quarters of the game (46:28), but after the break they started to demonstrate not only a tough defense, but also an impressive attack.

“Mačiūnai-KKSC” scored as many as 70 points during the second part of the match and did not leave any options for the guests from Plunge to think about victory in the fourth match of the series.

Prieniskians attacked impressively from a distance, hitting as many as 21 three-pointers out of 39.

For the winners, Domantas Šeškus scored 24 points, Adams Stančikas scored 22, Matas Kolesnikovs added 16 points.

For Olimp, Gytis Neimantas scored 11 points, Mindaugas Tamušauskas and Nojus Radžius scored 9 each, Justas Grikštas added 8 points.

The fifth match of the series will be held in Plunge on April 27. In the last quarter-final, the third match of the series took place between Kėdainiai Sports Center and Kaunas “Žalgirio-3” and the Žalgiris managed to soften the result of the series.

Kaunas are away 79:63 (25:16, 17:12, 19:20, 18:15) surpassed the Kedai team.

In the series up to three wins, Kėdainiai sport center leads 2:1.

The victory for the youth of “Žalgiris” was determined by a secure first half of the match, during which they gained a lead of 14 points (42:28).

The guests maintained their double-digit advantage throughout the second part of the match and moved the series to Kaunas.

For the winners, Thomas Bassong scored 16 points, Gvidas Gicevičius scored 13, Ernas Pakamanis added 10 points.

Ignas Lukošius scored 13 points, Nojus Bukauskas and Rokas ůzas scored 11 each, Arminas Kelmelis added 10 points for Kėdainians.

The fourth match of the series will be held in Kaunas on April 27.

The winners of this pair will meet Kaunas r. in the semi-finals. “Omega-Tauras” and “Tauragės” as the winner of the quarter-final pair. We remind you that the Nostra.lt-RKL A division final four will take place on May 3-4, in Kėdainiai.
