SEB client Asta (surname known to the editors), who received a request from the bank to fill out the questionnaire, was in no hurry to do so, as some of the questions seemed superfluous to her.

“The questions are completely unreasonable – for example: how much do you intend to purchase securities in the near future?” What amounts do you intend to spend in the near future? What amounts are you going to receive in the near future?”, while talking to 15 minutes a woman named examples of questions.

However, although it was indicated that the form must be filled out by June 11, on April 8 the woman was surprised to realize that she could no longer use online banking and the personal identification function in the electronic space.

“I cannot identify myself through the bank when connecting through the government portal to e-health, self-service portals of service providers. Another limitation is that I cannot make payments, such as paying utility bills, buying public transport tickets, making hotel reservations, etc. The question WHY? After all, the money is mine, I pay money for keeping it in the bank account, I haven’t delayed a single payment.

There are no anomalies in my account, ie unexpected increases in income, accumulation of large sums that could be laundered by someone who logged in illegally, or unusually high monthly expenses. I don’t have any loan in the bank. So why was it necessary to make me financially disabled?”, – was indignant with 15 minutes contacted SEB client.
