The value of the contract signed with “Vilnius Public Transport” is 1.434 million. euros. For this amount, Teknom will supply spare parts for electric traction of Solaris Trollino 12T trolleybuses.
This modern Škoda electric drive installed in trolleybuses is specially adapted to the electricity network in Vilnius – when the trolleybus is stopped, part of the electricity from the engine is returned to the network, which helps to save electricity and costs.
“Our company will ensure that Vilnius Public Transport has a sufficient amount of spare parts for the critically important trolleybus traction control system. Therefore, both planned and unplanned repairs will be carried out faster, which should contribute to better management of the fleet”, says Teknom manager Darius Sunklodas.
Teknom cooperates with and represents well-known manufacturers from the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Germany, Spain, France, Sweden, Italy and other countries, who develop, produce and supply products for trains, special railway transport, trams, trolleybuses, metro or their infrastructure.
