Easter in Vilnius: a drunken man threatened his ex-lover with a gun, while his long fingers broke windows and entered shops

--

On the night of the holiday, the officers of the Response Board received various reports – people complained about neighbors who were too brightly lit, conflicts and violence by relatives or loved ones. Longfingers were also worried, they stole fuel and broke into shops.

As soon as the officers started work, they received a report about a family conflict in the Šalčininkai district, in which a woman raged not only screaming, but also throwing plates. And in the city of Vilnius, after drinking too much alcohol, the men discussed their relationship: one threatened his sister and mother, the other pushed his lover.

A man living on Eišiškių Sodų 1st Street complained that his drunken roommate was filming him, while a resident of Uosių Sodų 13th Street did not beat Marguti, but his roommate.

A slightly more absurd story happened in the Vilnius district, where the officers received a report about a young woman who had experienced violence. At the scene, it turned out that the man was beating his girlfriend because she scolded him for repeated infidelity. In total, officers rushed to 24 incidents related to domestic violence during the night.

People who drank too much did not get along not only with their relatives, but also with taxi drivers. One citizen did not want to pay for a trip on Konduktorių Street, and a fight broke out between a driver and a customer on Taika Street. Around 9:20 p.m. there were two reports that one man was lying on the ground while another was kicking him on the said street. Medics and officers immediately rushed to the scene, it turns out that the driver and the customer had a fight over money, so they got into each other’s lapels.

He threatened his ex-girlfriend with a firearm

11 p.m. a large force of officers was brought to their feet by a frightened woman’s report of an ex-husband armed with a pistol. A resident of the Vilnius district said that her ex-lover drove up to her house and pointed a firearm at the window. A little later, the reporter said that the suspect left.

Upon arrival in the neighboring village, the policemen noticed the mentioned vehicle near the house of the suspect (born in 1984), and it also contained a firearm (pneumatic). The man who was found pretended not to understand anything, said that he did not drive the car, and even more so he did not go to see his ex. Also, the obviously intoxicated citizen explained that the hood of his vehicle was warm because it was a warm day.

The officers, who did not believe the fairy tales, checked the drunkenness of the man – a breathalyzer determined 2.79 per cent. drunkenness According to preliminary data, this is not the first attempt of the man to scare his ex-lover, only this time he will not be able to get away. Due to the incomprehensible behavior of a citizen, the officers started a pre-trial investigation in accordance with Article 145 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania. (threat to kill or seriously disturb a person’s health or terrorize a person).

Thieves broke into stores

Around 1:30 a.m. a report was received that thieves may have broken into the “Iki” store in Grigiškės. When the officers arrived, they found the door glass broken, and the suspects had already fled.

According to witnesses, an obviously drunk guy broke into the store and ran away with the loot in his hands. It turned out that the suspect had stolen alcoholic beverages.

A little later, the patrols were informed about another food feat – in Naujaja Vilnia, Šiauris st., long-fingered people tried to enter “Vynoteka”. At the scene, it was noticed that the glass of the door was hit several times with a large stone, but it was not possible to break through.

Also, on the holiday day, fuel was stolen from the “CircleK” gas station. Two men with jerry cans are said to have filled themselves with fuel and fled without paying.
