The facility near the Vondelpark park in the famous museum district is offered on real estate portal Funda and is the most expensive parking lot in the Netherlands, station RTL reported.
The ad states that the parking lot is located in a gated complex on “the most famous and exclusive shopping street in the Netherlands” – the Hooftstraat near the State and Van Gogh Museums.
According to the ad, the parking space can also be rented for 750 euros per month.
There is a shortage of parking spaces in the Netherlands because there are not many left to lure cars out of the city centre.
Since there is a shortage of parking spaces, their price is also increasing, RTL reported, but added that half a million euros is certainly inadequate.
