We already wrote about the fact that a few days ago Lando Norris injured his face at a party in Amsterdam. Before the upcoming Miami GP, the McLaren athlete explained the incident in a little more detail.
“I have really good friends in Amsterdam. I have a group of close friends so it was a really good weekend there. From there I flew straight to Miami. I just enjoyed my days off there, which are always nice when you have such a busy schedule.
What happened to me was just a cut into the glass. The shattered glass resulted in a minor injury. The situation itself is really quite stupid, but I can say that everything looks much worse than it actually was. Everyone thought something terrible had happened, but it didn’t. I wish it was a cooler story, but alas, it isn’t.
Someone just took a picture of me and it blew up a big bubble. I can say that nothing happened to be ashamed of,” L. Norris said.
