The 33rd motorcycle season opened in Vilnius on Saturday. As a result, traffic is restricted in some of the capital’s streets.
As previously reported by Vilnius city municipality, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. traffic is prohibited in the section of Upės Street from Kalvarijės to Studentų Street, ensuring the possibility for service transport and visitors to approach the shopping center on Upės Street 9.
When a motorcyclist convoy moves through the city, from 16:00 to 18:00, traffic may be restricted in one of the lanes on the Green Bridge, as well as A. Goštautas, Geležinis Vilkos, Oslo, Ateitis, Kalvarijões, Kareivių, O. Milašius, Lizdeikas, Antakalnis, T. Kosciuška, Arsenal and Žygimantų streets, Laisvės avenue.
The municipality warns that until Saturday 10 p.m. parking of vehicles is prohibited in the aforementioned section of Upės Street.
