“Today, May 24, around 5 a.m. 30 min, the Russian Black Sea Fleet ship “Ivan Churs” was attacked by unidentified “sea drones” 74 kilometers north of the Bosphorus Strait. This is reported by the Russian war correspondents themselves. Of course, Russia has not yet officially confirmed this information,” the report reads.

It is noted that three drones, the type of which has not been specified, were involved in the attack. According to Russian media, “the attack was repelled”, “the ship, according to preliminary data, was not damaged”.

Russia is said to have only two reconnaissance ships like the Ivan Churs.

The ship is equipped with various radio-technical intelligence, radio-electronic combat complexes, as well as communication systems that ensure fleet management. It is announced that the ship is designed to monitor anti-missile defense systems, and the exact composition of the equipment is not revealed. Its crew consists of 120 people.

From the place where “Ivan Churs” was attacked, it is more than 400 kilometers to the territory controlled by Ukraine.
