As reported, the price of TTF gas futures on the Amsterdam stock exchange reached EUR 25.80/MWh. The last time natural gas cost that much was in 2021. in June. Among other things, experts explained this as excess supply and did not rule out the possibility of further price declines.
Natural gas prices in Europe have been falling since the end of last year. The peak was reached last summer, when the price of natural gas exceeded 300 EUR/MWh.
