One of the most talented young basketball players in Lithuania Oak Tubelis (20 years old, 211 cm) will miss the U20 European Basketball Championship due to injury. A tall student studying at the University of Arizona (USA) informed the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LKF) and the U20 national team leader. coach Mindaugas Noreika that he has problems with a chronic injury and wants to appoint a summer for treatment.
“I have had an injury and may need surgery. I will try to cure it this summer, ”said A. Tubelis, who is currently in Lithuania. “I will support and be sick for you at the European Championships and see you next year.”
The third-year NCAA recorded 13.2 points and 6.6 rebounds in the first two years at the prestigious University of Arizona.
