The decision to hand over another vehicle needed for transporting the injured and sick was made after receiving a corresponding request for support from the municipality of the city of Ivan Frankivsk, Ukraine. Previously, Ukraine received support with ambulances from Lithuanian municipalities.
This time, together with the ambulance, a shipment of masks and disposable syringes, which were allocated from Vilnius University Hospital Santaras Klinikos, will reach Ukrainian hospitals.
The Lithuanian Community of the Atlantic Treaty took care of the renovation work of the ambulance and its transportation to the border of Ukraine.
