Belarusian media reports that Belarusian President Aliaksandr Lukashenka has been hospitalized near Minsk, Belarusian publications “Euroradijas” and “Belarusian Hajun” reported about it.
It is reported that A. Lukashenka was brought to the hospital in the evening, around 19:00.
Just yesterday it was announced that after taking part in the May 9 events, first in Moscow, then in Minsk, the leader of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, no longer appears in public.
The official website of the President of Belarus and other sources of information do not contain any information about the events in which A. Lukashenko would participate.
As noted by the opposition publication “Zerkalo”, A. Lukashenko’s schedule is generally quite stable. Wednesday is practically a free day for him, as there are usually no events in which he would participate. There was only one exception in April – it was related to a visit to Moscow by Vladimir Putin.
Apparently, then the leader of Belarus had to adjust to the Russian president’s schedule. On the remaining Wednesdays, greetings and official documents are simply published. On the contrary, Thursday and Friday are very active days for A. Lukashenko. They practically always host various meetings with politicians, meetings, trips, awards, etc.
Journalists conclude that A. Lukashenko’s absence from the public on May 10 is not surprising – it is a normal day off for him. And with complete silence on Thursday and Friday (at the time of publication of the text, there was no information on A. Lukashenka’s activities on the website, there were not even congratulations or announcements about the documents he was signing), thoughts inevitably arise about the politician’s serious health problems.
