Lithuanian Escobar from Tauragė. An exceptional story about one simple young man who liked professional photography, who tried to break into the elite of the capital’s drug mafia, who was stopped by the long-time officers of the Vilnius Organized Crime Investigation Board (ONTV).

Today, criminologists do not hide that they were shocked to learn that a new drug market player has appeared in the capital, offering a whole spectrum of the most diverse drugs – from “grass”, synthetics – LSD to the purest cocaine.

But they were even more surprised by the newcomer’s nickname – Escobar.

When the operative actions began, it became clear why. Like two drops of water, similar both in appearance and mannerisms, and yet engaged in the same activity – drug trade, the threads of which stretched even to Cyprus, Spain and other sunny parts of Europe.

About all this – in our exclusive latest video story, which reveals for the first time the details of the arrest of one of the most interesting drug dealers of all time and the criminal side of the Lithuanian Escobar’s life.

He was on the list of the most active criminals

It can be said that the spirit of Colombian mafia figure Pablo Escobar (1949-1993), who was successful as a drug lord more than 30 years ago and was killed during an operation by American officials, was suddenly reborn in Lithuania a few years ago, when Vilius Šermukšnis moved from Tauragė to Vilnius. He started living in a place where not every statistical young resident of the country could even rent or even buy their own home today. The young man then settled in a new complex of loft-type housing and commercial premises on T. Shevchenko Street. It was here that his career as a drug dealer began.
