“E-commerce Star 2024” is the first award platform for evaluating the best online stores in the Baltic States. Companies wishing to participate in the competition can submit applications until 2024. April 8 online at balticecommercestar.com. Winners will be announced in 2024. May 24 at the ECOMRIGA event.

Entrants’ applications will be evaluated by an authoritative international commission of industry experts, and the winners will share a prize pool of EUR 20,000 together with exclusive prizes established by the awards’ partners. Importantly, the competition consists of four different award categories, each broken down by company revenue. Their entries will be judged on three criteria: design, UX (user experience) and effectiveness. In order to participate in the contest, e-shops must fill out an online application form and pay the fee of the category assigned to it. The final list of finalists will be announced in 2024. May 10

Promotion of competitiveness and exclusive prizes

In addition to winning various prizes such as digital advertising campaigns, free shipping and free masterclasses, contestants will also have the opportunity to participate in discussions, podcasts and interviews, and gain insights from industry experts to help further grow their business.

The awards initiated by SEB and “Latvijas Pasts” aim to draw attention to success stories and excellence in e-commerce. in the trade industry throughout the Baltic region and present them to a wider global audience. They are also expected to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs to use ever-changing tools and communication channels to increase sales from the Baltic States. “Understanding e. the role of trade in the economic development of the Baltic region and its increasing importance in the global market, “Latvijas Pasts” is happy to become a participant of the competition “Baltijos e. star of commerce” as a partner. This event is the first of the entire Baltic e. trade awards, giving companies the opportunity to showcase their products on a bigger platform. Participation will ultimately give online stores more visibility not only at the level of the Baltic countries, but also in the entire e-commerce. in the trade industry worldwide, as the event will help ensure global visibility.

Participation fee available to all

Companies participating in the competition will compete in four award categories. New companies – companies with a turnover of less than EUR 50,000 will be able to participate in the competition free of charge. The participation fee for small companies with a turnover between EUR 50,000 and EUR 500,000 will be EUR 50. The participation fee for medium-sized companies with a turnover of between EUR 500,000 and EUR 5,000,000 is EUR 100. Participation fee for large companies – companies with a turnover exceeding EUR 5,000,000 – EUR 150.

Strategic partners of the event are SEB and Latvijas Pasts. Other partners include Balcia, Joom, Mēness Aptieka, Aleph, PhH Group, Element Digital, Login, Gemius and Magic Agency. Media partners are Delfi, TV3 Group, Äripäev.

“E-commerce Star” is held for the first time in all Baltic countries. Previously, it was held in Latvia for three years. in 2024 is the first year that it has expanded to the Baltic countries and from now on it will take place every year in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
