A woman has shared her ordeal after revealing how her husband laughed when he saw her naked body for the first time in years. The 28-year-old has struggled with her body image since giving birth three years ago and has only allowed her husband to see her fully naked once since, writes mirror.co.uk.

She shared her experience on Reddit, saying, “My husband hasn’t seen me completely naked in the light in years. I am not exaggerating or joking. I have always been very insecure about my stomach size.

I’m short and have a short torso, so it always looked like I had a belly, even when I weighed less than 52 kilos.

“I still remember my ex-husband telling me I was getting fat, and when I got to 45 kilos he told me, ‘Your belly is getting bigger.’ Now looking back I wish I was 45kg, I can’t believe I used to think anything over 52kg was fat.”

She says that when they’re intimate, she always keeps her shirt on — and always asks for the lights to be turned off. But recently, while she was in the bath, her husband walked into the room because she forgot to lock the door.

She said: “I had already got out of the bath and my husband came in and laughed. I looked at him and he immediately started apologizing. I yelled for him to leave.

Later that night he tried to talk to me and explained that he admits he shouldn’t have laughed but he hadn’t seen me in a while and was happy and I told him he laughed when he saw me naked and he admitted that because of my stomach and wrinkles made me look “a little silly”.

“I’m just so upset I can’t stop thinking about it. It hurts my feelings that someone might think I look stupid naked. I want my body fixed by a plastic surgeon. I hate my body. I weigh 72 kilograms.”

Commenting on her post, one user wrote: “My husband has loved and adored my body at all sizes over the years, including having kids. This is not normal and I am very sorry.”

Another user added: “Your husband is a fool. He knows exactly what you think about it, and he did it anyway.”

A third user said: “I realized that my husband was very good. Your husband had time to think about how that made you feel before he proceeded to call your body “stupid.” Also, has he ever told you to take your shirt off when you have sex? I understand that you might be uncomfortable.”
