The Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) reported that the average fuel prices in Lithuania decreased last week: gasoline fell by 0.6 percent, and diesel by 1.4 percent. The last time both gasoline and diesel average prices decreased was in mid-March.
On April 29, the average price of diesel in Lithuania was 1.51 EUR/l, the average price of gasoline was 1.56 EUR/l.
During the week, the average price of gasoline decreased in all compared Baltic countries and neighboring states by 0.1-0.6 percent, except for Estonia, where the average price of gasoline increased by 1.1 percent.
The average price of gasoline in Poland is 1.54 EUR/l and is lower than in our country for the second week in a row. Average gasoline prices in Estonia and Latvia are 1.83 EUR/l and 1.75 EUR/l, respectively.
The average prices of diesel in all compared Baltic countries and neighboring countries decreased by 0.8-1.5 percent, except for Estonia, where the average price increased by 0.4 percent.
The average price of diesel in Poland is 1.55 EUR/l and is 0.04 EUR/l higher than in our country. In Estonia and Latvia, the average prices of diesel are 1.62 EUR/l and 1.67 EUR/l, respectively.
Average gasoline prices in all compared states are 2.3-7.6 percent. higher than 12 months ago, and average diesel prices are now 4.4-11.1 percent. bigger ones.
In the countries of the Eurozone, fuel also became cheaper last week: the average price of gasoline decreased by 0.4 percent, and diesel – by 1.1 percent.
