The Knicks beat the 76ers 118-115 (36-22, 15-32, 32-29, 35-32) and won the series 4-2.

The winners were led to victory by Jalen Brunson, who scored 41 points (10/19 doubles, 3/8 triples, 12/16 penalties) and handed out 12 assists. Joel Embiid, who scored 39 points (10/20 doubles, 2/5 triples, 13/13 penalties) and caught 13 balls, did not save the Philadelphia team.

Both teams traded impressive runs at the beginning of the meeting – the Knicks led 33-11 in the first half, but the 76ers woke up in the second half. Until then, Buddy Hield, who had not been noticed in the series, nailed five three-pointers and ignited the home team for a 34-11 response.

From this moment on, the fight became tense, and everything was decided at the last minute. 24.4 seconds left to play. Josh Hart nailed a 3-pointer to give the Knicks a 114-111 lead. Joel Embiid responded with a 2-pointer, and Donte DiVincenzo, who was fouled, made both free throws. The Philadelphia basketball players had 7.1 seconds for the last attack, but it ended with B. Hield’s inaccurate long shot and the Knicks triumphed.

Milwaukee has been without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been sidelined since April 9 with a calf injury, for the entire series. The Bucks finished in the first round of the NBA playoffs for the second year in a row.

The home team raced 23:3 in the first half and, having accumulated a double-digit advantage (29:19), did not lag behind in the meeting.

The Pacers responded to every attempt by the Bucks to get closer with their spurt, and the most prominent of them was in the fourth quarter, when the Indiana basketball players scored 11 points without an answer and pulled away unsurpassed – 96-78.
