At all times, the weathervane was a special object, not only a ship’s guide in the dark, but also a symbol surrounded by mysterious stories. The Klaipda region tourism information center invites you to get acquainted with all seven vyturi on the coast of Lithuania.
The year 2024 has been declared as a leap year in Neringa and Klaipda. A trip along the old-fashioned paths invites you to visit old-fashioned houses in the four coastal municipalities of Klaipda, Neringa, Palanga and Iluts and learn about the stories of special buildings. Those who have visited all seven coastal fairs will participate in the game and can win various prizes, establish the tourism information center of the Klaipda region and the tourism business.
According to Angelina Ivanova, deputy director of Nida’s culture and tourism information center Agila, those participating in the game should click on a person with a watch next to each flag, show them the game’s organizers or partners in the city and get a stamp in a special publication of the flag. Those who collect all seven and present the echo sheet to one of the organizers or partners will participate in the draw.
Among the prizes we mention are one-day apartments in Nida Namai, a weekend at Pajrios Camping in Giruliai, a trip on the modern ship Eduka on the route UostadvarisVent, etc.

The weather of Nida
Urbo hill, Nida, Neringa
The predecessor of Nida’s dyke was built in the 19th century. on the other side. The iconic symbol of Nida will be the 27-meter-high red-brick arch-shaped tower, which arose while aping the 51.4-meter-high Urbas mountain. The Fresnel optical system heating apparatus, whose burner used mineral oil, was repaired in the old vituri of Nida.
The current vytyrys of Nida was built in 1953. Its height reaches 29.3 years. the beacon sends out white light signals that are visible in the sea for 41 km (22 miles). The panorama of the Baltic Sea, the lake and the Kuri mari can be seen from its covered area.

south of Nida, which is in the lagoon at Pervalka, was founded in 1900. the oldest spit fire will start working. It is the only facility in the entire spit lagoon, built on an artificial island for such a purpose.
The turret of the 14-m opener works automatically and sends white signals visible for 13 km. 20th century in the beginning, the light of the lighthouse was lit by an ibal lamp, its supply of ibal was replenished daily by an inland vessel. At that time, the pldur lamp with photocell was repaired in the window.

Juodkrants vytyrys
Juodkrants sengir, Juodkrant, Neringa
On the 53-meter Ragana mountain, which rises above Juodkrants, the most mysterious castle in Lithuania was built in 1953. The metal tower standing in Mikui is visible from the sea (900 m to it) and the hill from above. The 19.7 m Juodkrants lighthouse still functions as a navigational event. Its base is made of aluminum metal, and the upper part is coated with copper. The public event of the Juodkarts ship sitter sends white signals (on for three seconds, off for five), visible at a distance of 18 miles (about 33 km).
Klaipda’s wither

Klaipda lighthouse is located in Melnragje, 500 m from the shore of the Baltic Sea, 44 m above sea level, its signal is visible for 33 km.
In 1796, one of the first lighthouses in Klaipda, on the coast of the Baltic Sea, was dug. Only Danzig and Travemiunds vitriols were older. The authenticity of this 200-year-old church has remained only for 4 years, the part of the church was completely destroyed during the Second World War, in 1945. rebuilt, and in 1953 vl rebuilt and improved.
The ancient history of Klaipda is very rich. During the management of the port in 1884 the 2150 m long northern pier was completed, a breakwater was opened at its end, it emitted red light and was named White, about which legends are still told. At the end of the southern pier there was also a light signal event. in 1927 in its place, a 7.35-m-high spire was built, the place is open.

the northernmost Lithuanian wind farm in Ventoja was built in 1957. A red four-sided metal tower stands 780 m from the lake. Its height is 39 m, flashes of white light spread over 17 miles (31.48 km). The lamp event is made in Krontat jrinje factory.
in 2000 capital repair of the portico was carried out, 2016 new, modern, energy-saving LED fixtures have been installed. in 2015 on the initiative of farologist Aidas Jurkts, the Ventosio vytyry was opened to everyone. Although climbing the tower was difficult due to the steep, open staircase (an open structure creates fear when climbing up), the event attracted many residents of the town and the whole world: about 1,000 people visited the tower during the World Tower Day.
The port of Uostadvaris

18731876 at an important point for navigation, near the mouth of Minijos, on the bank of the Atmata river, an 18-meter-wide, regular octagonal, red-brick wall and edges decorated with light-colored glaze were built. Inside, a spiral concrete staircase leads to the inner room, which is accessed by a covered area. the vytury is connected to the vytury keeper’s residential house.
The lighthouse of Uostadvaris is a monument of technical history, it is no longer used for navigation, but it is a beautiful round tower of the picturesque surroundings of Rusn and Minija. On a clear day, unique landscapes can be seen from all sides from the covered area: Krok lankas eeras, Minijos up, Vents rago ikyulys, Neringa dunes.
in 1996 Uostadvaris vytyrys was declared a cultural heritage monument of the Republic of Lithuania.

In a unique place, surrounded on three sides by Kuri mari, the first lighthouse in Vents Raga was built in 1837, then it was lit by an oil lamp. In order to protect the old town from the elements, the peak of the Vents horn was covered with stones.
The current red brick manor house was built in 1852, its height was 11 years. an old iron staircase, decorated with lace ornaments, leads to the place covered with a weathervane. The signal lamp turns on automatically in the evening, and turns off in the morning. Army batteries with a permanent charger are used for this. the lighthouse also serves as a viewpoint from which the expanse of the Kuri mari, the horizons of the Kuri spit and Rusns Island can be seen.
