“It has been further confirmed this morning that Meghan will not be attending the Invictus anniversary service with Harry in London. “However, the Duchess of Sussex will join the Duke on an Invictus-inspired visit to Nigeria immediately after Harry leaves the UK,” he confirmed.

The news comes after it was announced that Prince Harry will attend a service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday 8 May. A special service will mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The Invictus Games is a sporting event dedicated to injured, ill and stressed service members and veterans. These games are not only for physical rehabilitation, but also for emotional and social support.
