“If I had taken him from the children’s home, he would have become a drug addict and would probably be in prison,” the mother of singer Radis, who died 4 years ago, once said.

However, when Rajis was asked if he ever wondered what would have happened if he had grown up with a mother who was addicted to drugs and spent 15 years in prison, he answered briefly and clearly: “I never think about it, because I have my guardian Vida and my music.”

By the way, Rajis calls his guardian Vida his mother and it is her he will congratulate on Mother’s Day.

In the LNK show “Bučiuju. Rūta” Raji also remembered painful experiences. Until the age of two, he lived with his mother in a women’s prison. After that, he went to a children’s foster home. And although his mother used to invite him to come on dates in prison, Raji says that he really didn’t want to go there: “She only invited me to get amnesty and release her earlier. I remember I used to be afraid of that prison, I used to hide so that I wouldn’t have to go there.”

“I have fought for myself since I was a child, and I used to get scolded for the word “boyish”. Everyone knew who Aleksandrovičius was and kept calm,” the singer says when asked if he was bullied because he grew up in a children’s home.

Another participant of the show, singer Deividas Valma, was also born in prison. His parents were addicted to alcohol, so it was common for him not to eat for two or even three days from his childhood: “My parents drank constantly, their friends gathered at home, I didn’t even have a place to sleep. More than once I had to sleep on the street.”

Later, David ended up in an orphanage, and then became famous in musical television projects. When he began to be shown on television, the parents remembered that they had a son and found him. David says that he is not angry with his mother and father, but he felt that they probably want to take advantage of him, and will not wish anyone a happy Mother’s Day, because there is simply no communication with his mother who is still alive.

Pilates instructor Artūrs Čiž’s mother also had a strong addiction to alcohol, so he knows very well what it means to not eat for whole days.

“They didn’t take much care of us, and from such extreme experiences, I remember that I had to collect potato skins from the garbage bin, roast them on my shoulder and eat them, because there was simply no other choice,” says the coach.

When he was in the fourth grade, he ended up in a foster home: “The teachers noticed that we didn’t go to school to learn, but to eat, because we simply didn’t have food at home.”

Now Artūras has started a family himself, works as a pilates instructor and is soon going to open his own pilates studio. Although Arthur’s mother is still alive, when asked who he would like to congratulate on Mother’s Day, he immediately remembered the teacher at the orphanage.

Content creator Edvinas Krupinskas, who is famous for his mother parodies, plays out well-known situations involving his character “Mama” in short videos on Instagram. Although Edwin’s mother has been gone for two years now, he says he is still grateful to his mother for inspiring him to create the wildly popular character.

Famous people were accompanied by the epithet “boyfriends”:

Inspiring success stories – already this Thursday evening at 8 p.m. in the show “Kissing. Rūta” only on LNK.
