Silvester Belt appeared on the Eurovision stage for the first time on April 27.
At the first rehearsal, he appeared with a new image. The dancers’ outfits have also changed since the auditions. During the performance, their faces are covered by hoods and masks.
There were no major changes in the second rehearsal.
Before the first rehearsal, the head of the delegation, Audrius Giržadas, told the behind-the-scenes of the rehearsals on the LRT show “Labas rytas Lietuva”.
“Everything starts with a very serious and detailed security briefing. Then time is given to get ready – to dress up in stage clothes. Then we travel to the sound check room, the sound rehearsal takes place even before the big stage.
The performer and backing vocalist are singing, the dancers are listening to see if the music is playing in their ears, or everything is working, and then we go to the stage, and the television is already working there.
After the performance, the performers listen to comments, they have the opportunity to correct certain things on the spot, others are left to correct later.
We then make our way to the screening room and a detailed discussion of the show is already underway. The directors of sound, visuals have the opportunity to say all the notes. We are reviewing the entire filmed performance in detail and we hope that everything will be fixed for the second rehearsal”, A. Giržadas said on the show.
On May 1, in addition to Lithuania, representatives of Cyprus, Serbia, Ireland, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Iceland, Slovenia, Finland, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Australia, Portugal and Luxembourg appeared on the stage.
The next Silvester Belt rehearsal is scheduled for May 6.
